Starting your first playthrough in Core Keeper and looking for some sweet quality of life or content expansion mods? Great, that's exactly the post for you then ๐ข
Enemy Health Bars
By default, Core Keeper has no health bars for normal enemies. This is intended game design, but not knowing how much HP an enemy has can be rather annoying. Luckily, there's an easy to install mod that deals with that ๐

AutoDoors
AutoDoors is a simple quality of life mod that adds automatic door opening. Instead of having to click a door to open it, they open automatically. Simple, right?

You can do this without mods later on in the game๐ง
Better Cursor
The cursor texture in Core Keeper is notorious to be unnecessarily hard to see. This mod simply adds a white outline around it.

This is an actual lifesaver for colorblind people ๐
Keep Inventory on Death
Now we're getting in a little bit of a gray area. I personally hate losing my items in games and having to go pack to pick them up. That's why Terraria's one of my favorite games.

This mod is basically just /gamerule keepInventory true
.
Beating Dummy
This mod adds a test dummy that you can use to test your damage with different weapons and playstyles. Very useful for maximizing damage!

InvMove
Another simple quality of life mod that allows you to keep your inventory open while moving. Pretty self explanatory ๐ถ

For the multitaskers (tryhards) ๐
Check out more mods
Core Keeper's modding scene is pretty new since the modding update was released very recently, but there's plenty of awesome mods with more coming every day.
You can check more of them out on the official Mod.io page.
